As far as music is concerned, I personally felt 2023 was a pretty solid year. The remake song trend was much less compared to previous years. I initially decided to select around 30 odd songs for this list. However I ended up with 50 songs. This list also consists of some beautiful songs which hardly anyone heard, owing to various reasons like the film's poor marketing and failure, etc. The aim of this post is to celebrate the best music of 2023, and to also make people aware of the unheard / underrated music of 2023.   ARTIST OF THE YEAR The usual stalwarts like Arijit Singh and Pritam took a backseat for me as one of the OG's re-emerged in 2023. I am talking about SONU NIGAM. This was his year. The sad part is he sang so many beautiful songs which went totally unnoticed.
